She was the youngest archer at World Archery Championship held in Korea and has also secured the number one spot at numerous junior and senior national meets which has enabled her to attain critical acclaim in the sphere of Indian archery. Taking inspiration from her father who was unable to fulfill his own dreams of being a sportsman, Jayalakshmi Sarikonda has proved her mettle time and again at the sport of archery and achieved massive success in numerous tournaments.
